Sunday School The Sunday School has been experimenting with 'themed' sessions, for children from age of 3 to 11. The next date is to be decided, but would be in the hall on a Sunday from 10.00am to 10.45am. |

The Church Social Committee is in need of some more members to help plan, co-ordinate, and run social events. -------------------------- Many events have taken place during the past few years. The Committe has now published its programme for the next year. ++ January 19 - Poetry Evening. ++ February 27 - Video evening for boys and girls. ++ March - Dingbat Quiz. ++ April - Ten Pin Bowling. ++ May 20th - Evening Ramble (see above). ++ June 28th - Full day train trip to Chester. ++ July 6th - Habberley Valley Picnic at 1.15pm after Sunday Morning Service. ++ Sept 3rd - Evening Meal (7.30pm) at the Bengal Fusion (best in Lye). ++ Oct 11th - Village Memories (a talk by Terry Church at 7.30pm) ++ Dec 19th - Carol singing in local pubs from 7.30pm ++ Jan 2009 - Poetry Evening All arranged by only 4 members, so you can see why some help would be appreciated!
