Church open for prayer

The church has been open at the following times.
However this will not now continue on such a regular basis.
If you find the church closed and wish to use it, please contact us via the email etc.
Mondays 10.00am to 11.00am
Thursdays 7.00pm to 8.30pm
Fridays 1.45pm to 3.15pm

A PLACE OF SANCTUARY

From time to time we all need a little space, somewhere quiet where we can reflect.
The Church of the Ascension recognises the need to open its doors to everyone on a regular basis, outside normal church service times, for this purpose.

Whatever issues are affecting you, we want you to know that a peace of mind, which you may not know exists, can be brought about by a personal relationship with God.
Make a visit to the Church of the Ascension, and feel the peace of the Spirit of God.

It could help you cope with whatever life throws at you, and bring back a real purpose into your life.
Give it a go, after all, what have you got to lose?

If it's your first time in church, don't worry.
There will be someone in attendance if you need help, but who otherwise will not disturb you.

And don't forget, if you feel unable to pray yourself, but would like any prayers offered on your behalf, you could always add an entry to the prayer suggestions, using the option to the left.
